Getting a quote
Nanaimo Roofers starts every quote from your address and a short description of the problem. We answer requests across Nanaimo, Lantzville, Cedar and Gabriola Island, and we get on all 4 sides of the roof in person before we give you a price.
What to send
The address, and what is happening — a leak, moss, or a covering at the end of its life. Roughly how old the roof is, if that is known, and whether it has been done once before. Those four things are enough to book a look. The slope, the deck, the flashings and the venting all have to be seen from the roof, so we get up there before we price anything. Send what you can and we will fill in the rest on the visit.
What happens next
We book a time that suits you. We walk the roof and check the attic from inside, then come back to you with a written scope. The visit costs nothing, and nothing has to be decided on the day.
What the quote will contain
We name the covering by product, give the measured slope, the venting ratio, the per-sheet rate for sheathing, and the number of days the roof will be open. We tell you whether a permit applies to the address, and which authority issues it. What is included at the eaves, the flashings and the gutters, and what is not.
After the visit
We send the quote to you in writing. Where the answer turns out to be a repair rather than a replacement, that is what we quote.
